The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for Audi A4 B6 - automatique, compatible with all versions manufactured between 2000 and 2005. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: gearbox. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

This skid plate is very solid and should do what is needed. It did arrive damaged. The box was in bad shape and one of the places where the bolts go in was bent. We were able to make it work anyway. I also wish there was a way to change the oil without removing the whole skid plate. Maybe the company can figure out a solution for that for future customers.
