The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for VW Golf mk4, compatible with all versions manufactured between 1998 and 2006. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, gearbox, radiator, front bumper. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

Very strong product. Packing was very poor and I had some chips. The company said they were working on better packing. Instructions could be improved to make it easier to fit. Picture on instruction sheet could not be seen properly. How about a link to good instructions online? Product shipped from Romania and took ten days to get to me but may be faster to less remote places. The website does say eight days I think. For the MK4 VW golf the extra depth is causing me to bottom out even more than I did with the plastic cover but I suppose it will protect the sump. The golfs sump is very low. It would be worth using stainless bolts and a countersunk screw for the oil change flap as it is the lowest point.

Die Qualität ist gut jedoch das einbauen war müll, da die Anleitung/Beschreibung die man dazu bekommen hat nichts erklärt, war rotz und das Video hat einfach nichts richtig zeigt. Ohne Hilfe von einem Kfz-Mechatroniker der bisschen Ahnung davon hatte, hätte man es nicht geschafft!

Top bis auf die Einbauanleitung ist nicht ganz verständlich wie der Träger eingebaut werden muß und man muss ein bißchen probieren. Trotzdem volle Punktzahl weil sonst alles passt

Sehr schneller Versand. 5 Tage sogar mit Vorkasse , ohne Pay Pal Passt am Golf IV 4 Motion 2001 101 PS PDI. Muss nur etwas Kunststoff an der Luftansaugung entfernt werden.

Die Qualität des Unterfahrschutzes ist sehr gut. Beim Einbau müsste ich die vorderen Streben nur leicht nach biegen, damit alles perfekt passt. Ich würde jedem das Produkt weiter empfehlen. Die Lieferung hat leider ein paar Schwierigkeiten hervorgerufen die aber GLS zu verantworten hat. Das Fahrzeug ist ein Golf 4.

Bonne plaque de protection cependant il faut ajustée la plaque avec plus de rondelles au niveau des fixations de devant et à l'arrière de la plaque. Autre remarque très importante il est impossible de vidangé avec la plaque le trou est a 20 cm du bouchon de vidange.
