The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for VW Caddy, compatible with all versions manufactured between 2003 and 2012. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, gearbox, radiator. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

Beim Versand in die Schweiz wurden leider falsche Dokumente geliefert, sodass das Paket eine ganze Weile beim Zoll (noch in Rumänien) hängen geblieben ist. Mit grosser Verspätung ist das Paket dann doch noch angekommen. Die Montageanleitung hat den Namen nicht verdient - sie ist wohl sehr allgemein gehalten und nicht unbedingt sehr hilfreich. Immerhin hat das Produkt gepasst und war stabil.
