The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for Toyota Land Cruiser J100, compatible with all versions manufactured between 1998 and 2008. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, radiator, front bumper. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2.5 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

Land cruiser J100 front guard section fitted OK, ish. Some holes need elongating, and the captive nut inserts in the chassis were a bit dodgy. On the rear guard nothing lined up, holes in the wrong place, ended up fabricating my own mounts. I was so pissed of I couldn't be arsed to leave a review, until they emailed me asking for one. The Rav4 sump guard fitted OK but had to strengthen the front mounting points in the towing eyes as they failed very early on. Once again the captive inserts in the chassis were crap, and difficult to install. Instructions... Hmm, to put it politely; Calling them a chocolate teapot would be a compliment, they were useless. Frankly overall, the guards did the job. But for the price I should of just got sheet metal and made them myself from SS304. Live and learn I guess. I was also one of those that didn't realise VAT wasn't included, buyers beware, but I guess that was my fault.

Les blindages avants sont bon quasi aucun soucis dessus. Le blindage de la boîte de transfert cependant ne se monte pas. La barre de support est trop courte et il a fallu re-percer lema tôle pour permettre le montage sur la traverse d'origine. Sinon c'est du solide dans la construction et la peinture.
