The steel product feels a little thinner than I would have expected - hope it is going to be strong enough to protect the sump on rallies. It would have been nice to have an alloy (4mm dural?) option, but my question on that availability was ignored. Incredibly quick delivery (7 days) considering where the sumpguard came from. The sumpguard needed a little adaption as it is designed for a petrol engined car, while my diesel has a slightly wider/deeper sump. Not a major problem.

A good, well made product. The sump guard fitted perfectly but there was difficulty with the gearbox guard as it does not fit the Grand Vitara TD. With a some fettling and the assistance of a lump hammer we bent the offending wing out to make room for the exhaust pipe and then it fitted perfectly. It is a shame we had to do that as it no longer looks as it was made to, but it does work and with that modification all was well. Other than that all the holes lined and it was pretty simple to fit.

The sump guard I bought from you didn't fit correctly ! I had to cut 20mm off the winged bits on the side so it would clear the front lower wishbone mount ! I am a mechanic so this wasn't a problem for me , although a little disappointing !! This is something you should address in your design process for the future or you might get people returning them !! PS overall this is a well made product at a reasonable price and when you fix the problem I have highlighted it will be better value then the OEM parts !!

Sump guard ok. Powder coat chipped in places. Radiator guard fits fine but the sump part catches on the lower part of my suspension. I had to fettle to get it on. I have a 2' lift so might have caused issue.

Finally could sort out what Fords seems to be acceptable on the Transit MK7 and close up the underside of the fully exposed engine bay. Sumpguard fitted good but holes on the LH frame needed a little bit fettling to accept the bracket. As others said already, packaging not quite as good as it could be but all considered good value for money.

Very strong product. Packing was very poor and I had some chips. The company said they were working on better packing. Instructions could be improved to make it easier to fit. Picture on instruction sheet could not be seen properly. How about a link to good instructions online? Product shipped from Romania and took ten days to get to me but may be faster to less remote places. The website does say eight days I think. For the MK4 VW golf the extra depth is causing me to bottom out even more than I did with the plastic cover but I suppose it will protect the sump. The golfs sump is very low. It would be worth using stainless bolts and a countersunk screw for the oil change flap as it is the lowest point.
