Steel sump guard for Nissan X-Trail T31
Compared with the useless plastic sump guard my Nissan X-Trail came fitted with, this clearly very robust product rates ten stars. However the fit for the X-Trail wasn't brilliant, I had to drill bigger holes to take the unusual (but innovative) right angle retaining bolts. Also the bolts themselves, unlike the self-locking nuts, are not heat treated and it proved very easy to strip the threads. But the people at Sump Guard provided first rate customer service in response, sending me a second complete set of fittings free of charge. Definitely recommended, just be prepared for the possibility that you might have to spend a bit of extra time on the fitting.

Product fitted with little effort and was a brilliant replacement for the original which was ripped off. Product also came with access panel to drain the oil which is an improvement on the original. Reasonably priced and not far off the original parts price from Audi.

The main thing is that this item does NOT fit the Fiesta ST Mk7 - even though I made it very plain that is the car it was to go on. To be fair the seller has refunded in full the £121 I paid for the item - and told me to keep it, get it adapted to fit. So I have done that, the cost of adapting and fitting was £259. Now that it's fitted to the car, the sump guard scrapes the ground quite a lot whereas minus sump guard I only ever scraped once in 6 months. I think I might have been better to get a one-off sump guard custom made - but how much that would have cost me I do not know.

Steel sump guard for Subaru Forester 2
Looks good and strong. However, I have not fitted it yet to my Forester SG because of the poor packaging. The paint was chipped an I had to repaint it with Hammerite enamel for extra protektion. It also would have been nice to be notified that the shipping to Sweden was ”on”. One of the rubber things was like rotted, decayed and falling appart so I need a new one. I think it’s a good buy at this price!

Bought a sump guard for my vow amarok fit very nicely, on receiving the product the paint on the bracket edges was all chipped so just used some primer and black spray job sorted but would of been better with alot of more package round the edges to protect it from when it's dragged about on delivery.

Brought sump guards for two of my vehicles and a rear diff guard for one of them. The paint finish is very thin and came mostly chipped off on the edges, this was clearly not helped by the utter lack of packaging which offered very little protection and also resulted in on the of the sump guards arriving with bent mounting tabs. The rear diff guard did not fit with the supplied bolts as they where too short, the fitting instructions for this vehicle were non-existent with incorrect diagrams which resulted in much frustration in building a new mounting point for the sump guard to fit.

Sump guard for Subaru Forester III. Nice product and fast delivery from Romania to the Netherlands. I had to drill two holes 10 mm into a crossmember of the car to attach the sump guard. Just a little disadvantage.
